Apostle Terriss K. Stevenson was born in Bartow, FL and raised in Mulberry, FL (The Phosphate Capital of the World)! Apostle Stevenson has been married for over 20 years to the best woman that ever placed her feet on earth, the beautiful Lady Sylvia.  Apostle Stevenson and Lady Sylvia have seven children and a host of grandchildren. Apostle Stevenson, is the Pastor of the greatest ministry on this side of heaven, The Sanctuary of Hope Worship Ministries (Miracle City), in Plant City, FL. He is also the Author of FRAME IT! A 31 Devotional for Affirming the Believer. 

Apostle Stevenson accepted the Call to ministry and has not stopped preaching since. Apostle Stevenson was submitted up under the leadership of Pastor Nathaniel B. Hill from the time he was released from prison (2000-2012). In 2012 God was releasing Apostle Stevenson to start a ministry and with the blessing of Pastor Hill, Apostle Stevenson started a new journey.  Apostle Stevenson following God connected with Acts Praise and Worship, under the leadership of Pastor Andre Camp. A year later God allowed Apostle Stevenson and Lady Sylvia to give birth to Sanctuary of Praise. God continued to show Himself worthy and on May 29th, 2016, after Pastoring Sanctuary of Praise and interning at Hope Outreach the two ministries merged and became the greatest ministry on this side of heaven The Sanctuary of Hope Worship Ministries.

On September 24th 2022 Apostle Terriss K. Stevenson was called into the Office of an Apostle of The Lord Jesus Christ. 

Apostle Stevenson’s favorite scripture is Ephesians 3:20 Apostle Stevenson quotes that “He believes in the power of prayer, the power of the spoken word, that the word comes in word comes in word power and demonstrated evidence by HIS SPIRIT and the word we speak must become tangible.”

Lady Sylvia Stevenson is the wife of Apostle Terriss K Stevenson, she plays a vital role at The Sanctuary of Hope Worship Ministries. She is not only the First Lady but, she also oversees The Women of Substance Ministry, were there is encouragement, laughs, crying, compassion, and love for one another.  

Lady Sylvia gives her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ all the praise, honor, and glory for seeing her through every trial and tribulation. With her much wisdom and compassion, she has learned to love God’s people UNCONDITIONALLY! Her passion is to encourage young and older women, by letting them know to always believe in themselves. She often reminds women that none of us are perfect. Jesus Christ is the only One that is perfect in all His ways. “Every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future,” this is what Lady Sylvia stands by and believes.

Pastor Dempsey called by God in 1995 to function as an Apostolic, Teaching, Evangelist who’ was also called to assist Apostle T. K. Stevenson in 2011 at the Sanctuary of Praise out of Bartow, FL which became the infamous Sanctuary of Hope Worship Ministries aka MIRACLE CITY! 

His role has been defined by the Lord as David’s and Johnathan’s roles were during their history together, and that being a contemporary, Comrade, confidante, counselor and one who served the one who was anointed to lead God’s people with Apostolic grace, power, and love! As we T.O.U.CH the world, we look forward to the expansion of God’s Kingdom, as we continue to create an atmosphere where when people enter our doors, they may come in broken, but they will leave whole!

Minister Errol Stancil answered God’s call to ministry over 20 years ago. He began serving under the leadership of Apostle Terriss Stevenson at Sanctuary of Praise Ministries. His dedication in ministry continues at Sanctuary of Hope Worship Ministries as a minister, whereby through the Powerful and Living Word of God, he is being used for the equipping of saints and edification of the Body of Christ.

Sylvia T Leonard, Licensed minister August 26, 2007, and presently licensed at Sanctuary of Hope. She currently serves as the Minister of Music.

Constance Mitchell is a teacher and coach at one of the local Hillsborough County Schools. She serves as an Intercessor and Praise and Worship Leader at the Sanctuary of Hope. Her personal mission statement:  To encourage others. Preparing others to excel. 

Her favorite scripture – “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” -Romans 8:18-

Minister Melvin Henrí Risher serves as the Musician and minister under the leadership of Apostle Stevenson. He has been able to exercise his gifts at the Sanctuary to glorify God and edify his people. Being a part of this ministry has stirred our faith and given us the boldness to stand on the word of God in faith.
